absolutely awesome friday!

friday, cathy and some close friends went to breakfast so that left me and my buddy kevin free to roam about and frolick through the whimsical dale know as fallbrook. wait...mebbe i should rephrase that. kevin and i, along with our young cohort daniel, went out to fallbrook for a big time burger. normally, driving at least 50 minutes for a burger would be insane (not counting white castle or my personal slider joint favorite, krystal burgers). with that said, the ride was really good. great weather, cool tunes and three guys hanging out on a very rare not-so-ordinary friday.
(daniel was actually mostly engrossed into his PSP, but he was available when it counted, for the record.)

first a little back story. kevin and i are, for lack of a better term, food buddies. it's strictly platonic, i assure you. any time either of us try something new, we will call each other and either rant or rave about it, depending on the outcome. kevin works as an installer for an iron company and has the privilege of working all over riverside and san diego counties. and, when the opportunity arises that he is near the 15 fwy in san diego county, he will always in fallbrook at a little joint called nessie burgers.

when we arrived at nessie burgers, we were only three people behind the front of the line.  this meant that the burger gods had shown great favor toward us, allowing us to forgo the massive line that is always there from opening to closing time.
while on the pricey side of the scale ($5.50 for just the burger), it is well worth it.  if go too much into detail--i'm going to have to buy one for myself! (thanks kevin--you are awesome!)

GO POUND ONE DOWN, I DARE YA!
