i have let you down, wil wheaton!

i originally started this blog endeavor as a semi-tribute. i had the opportunity of reading wil wheaton's audiobook entitled just a geek. it was one of the best books i had read (i.e. listened to) in a long while. very well written--heartfelt, introspective, witty and most importantly...real. you see, everyone is fully aware that i do not personally know wil wheaton. and yet, nestled in my wi-fi poolhouse shack, in the wee hours of the morning, we are friends. as he spins tales of his youth and working in stand by me and star trek: the next generation, and later struggling as an actor and human being, i feel like i've known him forever.
in fact--as i'm writing this right now...i'm hearing his calm, gentle voice scrawl the words i type over this blog. isn't that just a little koo-koo?
i wrote that to say this: i really should not let this blogging thing die. if only for the wil wheaton that lives inside my head.

well for now...

[in the remotely impossible chance that you are wil wheaton and you are *ahem* reading this--i am not crazy, just a real fan who was profoundly touched by your book and career. p.s. what do think about joomla? ever think about making the switch?]
